Danice Brown Guzmán

Research Associate

Danice Brown Guzmán works as a research associate in NDIGD's Impact Evaluation Division. Her previous research focused on food security in the Middle East and complex network analysis. Prior to joining NDIGD, Guzmán worked on the Monitoring and Evaluation Team for the UN Relief Works Agency in Amman, Jordan. While in Jordan, she was involved in designing an impact evaluation of a vocational training program, and a needs assessment for the Syria Response. She also worked as a project manager for Refugee Family Services in Atlanta, Georgia, designing monitoring and evaluation structures for youth development projects. Additionally, Guzmán served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco, designing and implementing projects in youth and community development.

Guzmán has a master's in public policy and a certificate in international development from the Sanford School at Duke University, and a bachelor's in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame.
