Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Tushi Baul is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with NDIGD's Impact Evaluation Division. Her research interests include agriculture, development, labor markets, and social networks. Additionally, she has worked extensively in field and lab-in-field experiments in India.
Prior to joining NDIGD, Baul worked as a visiting assistant research professor at New York University Abu Dhabi, and as a consultant at the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL)–South Asia. At JPAL, she worked as a co-PI on an impact evaluation related to technology adoption by farmers in Bihar. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University, and holds a master's in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
