Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Tushi Baul works as a monitoring and evaluation specialist within NDIGD's Evidence and Learning Division. Her research interests include agriculture, development, labor markets, and social networks. Additionally, she has extensive experience developing and conducting in-field and lab-in-field experiments, primarily in India.
Prior to joining NDIGD, Baul was a visiting assistant research professor at New York University Abu Dhabi. She also previously served as a consultant at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab's (J-PAL) regional center in South Asia. At J-PAL South Asia, she worked as a co-PI on an impact evaluation related to technology adoption by farmers in Bihar, India.
Baul holds a Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University and a master's in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
