Trader Networks and Traders' Alliances with Politicians

Notre Dame faculty are implementing a $78,845 award from the NSF Cultural Anthropology Division to study trader networks and traders' alliances with politicians. With an eye to increasing the effectiveness of development efforts, the project will focus on a better understanding of how traders' responses to political changes ultimately affect local and regional economies. This project is affiliated with the Inter-Disciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications.
